making every moment count.

Since we have been in the states for 10 months I have to say we haven't lost a moment in enjoying everything we could take in! We have run ragged, pushed the calendar limit, and drove thousands of miles just to fill up the memory tank! Easy to do when we have a son in Boston and a daughter in college!

A couple of weeks ago we ministered in Wilmington, Delaware in the morning and then stayed in the vicinity so that we could drive less than an hour to hear Renee's VFCC string ensemble near Philadelphia in the late afternoon.

Just that week I had finished reading a book about Jamaican's famous Rastafarian, Bob Marley. To my surprise he had lived in Wilmington Delaware in 1967 when he joined his mother there. It didn't last long, maybe a year until he returned back to Jamaica. In the book though it gave the actual address of his residence.

Thanks to the GPS we were able to drive right to the house. Since people were in the yard, I didn't feel comfortable to take pictures, however at the end of the road there is a Caribbean restaurant that obviously notes some of Bob Marley's history.

Then we drove on to the concert where Renee would be playing. What a beautiful evening of music. There were many performances since it was billed as "Night of the Arts" in a beautiful church. I was taken aback by the beauty of the sanctuary, especially right above the stage.

A simple mantra, but oh so profound...God IS Love.
